COMMUNITY SAFETY

Trust & safety

Clear review steps and in-platform communication help clients and protection professionals make informed decisions.

Account and listing reviews

People and companies may submit their own applications from any country, including Turkey. We do not bulk-add profiles sourced from Turkey or scrape personal profiles and CVs from third-party directories. Company registration details supplied by an applicant may be checked against an authorized official registry only where its access and reuse terms allow it; a registry match alone does not verify a security license, insurance, staff, competence or service quality.

Provider accounts stay private until a team member reviews the required identity, CV, license or company evidence. Training courses, public reviews and new client assignment requests also require administrator approval before they appear.

Platform review is a screening step, not a guarantee of identity, license validity, service quality, suitability or safety. Independently confirm current credentials, insurance, references, local legal requirements and assignment details before agreeing to a service.

Photos and identity checks

Provider accounts may upload one JPEG or PNG profile portrait or company logo up to 4 MB. Photos are stripped of image metadata, malware-scanned, encrypted at rest and held for administrator review before appearing on a public listing. Owners can replace or remove their profile photo. We do not accept listing photos or video selfie checks. Sensitive identity documents are submitted through the private verification area and encrypted at rest; access is limited to the account owner and review administrators. Malware scanning and document retention/deletion controls remain launch requirements.

We do not scan faces through a camera in this version. Face matching creates sensitive biometric data and requires a carefully assessed lawful basis, clear notice, meaningful choice and a suitable specialist provider. Do not submit biometric data through ordinary chat or email.

Prohibited content and conduct

The following are not allowed in profiles, CVs, credentials, assignment requests, proposals, courses, reviews or private chats:

  • Insults, abuse, threats, harassment, stalking, bullying, hate speech or discriminatory content.
  • Sexual harassment, exploitation, sexually explicit solicitation or content involving minors.
  • Fake identities, forged CVs, false licenses, impersonation, misleading job details or fabricated course claims.
  • Scams, phishing, spam, deceptive promotions, requests to bypass platform review or payment safeguards, or attempts to move a transaction off-platform.
  • Gambling, betting, casino promotions, gambling links or requests to arrange gambling services.
  • Requests for illegal activity, unlawful weapons transactions, or sharing another person’s confidential or sensitive information without permission.

How we respond

Profiles, courses, reviews and assignment requests remain unpublished until an administrator reviews them. Content that breaks these rules may be rejected or removed. Accounts may be returned to review status, restricted from marketplace activity or permanently banned. Ban decisions and other administrator actions are recorded. Where the law requires or permits, suspected criminal activity may be referred to the appropriate authorities.

Use the report controls on a profile, course, assignment or chat message. Reports go to the administrator review queue. Chat messages are delivered to the participants immediately and are not pre-approved; report abusive or unsafe messages. We review reports and decide action based on the available information. No filter or review process can guarantee that every harmful message is prevented.

Keep agreements in the platform

Private chat messages are visible to the conversation participants as soon as they are sent; administrators do not pre-approve each message. Use “Report message” to send abusive, fraudulent or unsafe messages to the review queue. The service blocks common email, phone, social link and crypto-address patterns in public profiles, briefs, proposals and chat before a proposal is accepted. After acceptance, the parties may exchange contact details in the project chat. Filters can miss altered spellings or other workarounds, so they are a deterrent rather than a guarantee.

Rent A Bodyguard does not collect service payments, hold funds or provide escrow. After a proposal is accepted, the client and provider arrange the service and payment directly with each other. Verify the other party and payment instructions independently; the platform cannot recover money sent directly.

Report a concern

Use our private abuse and safety report form for gambling promotion, abuse, fraud or another concern. You can report without signing in.

Use “Report this profile”, “Report this course”, “Report this assignment” or “Report message” and provide specific details. Listing reports can be submitted without signing in; reporting a private chat message requires signing in. The report is sent to the administrator review queue. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
